WellPeriod terms of use
Effective 13 September 2026. By downloading or using WellPeriod (the “app”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The important part in two lines: WellPeriod is a tracking tool, not medical advice and not a contraceptive method. Predictions have a margin of error. Pro is bought and cancelled through Apple.
1. Who offers the app
WellPeriod is developed and distributed by Abraham Rubio (“WellPeriod”, “we”), based in Mexico, through Apple’s App Store.
2. What you can do with the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on Apple devices you control, under the App Store terms. The app lets you log your menstrual cycle, symptoms and other data, and view predictions and analysis computed from what you log.
3. Not medical advice or contraception
- The app is not a medical device and does not replace consultation with a healthcare professional. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
- Period, ovulation and fertile-window predictions are statistical estimates based on the data you enter. They have a margin of error, which the app shows you, and they can be wrong, especially with irregular cycles, little data or hormonal changes.
- Do not use the app as a contraceptive method or to decide when to have unprotected sex. The fertile window shown does not guarantee that other days are infertile.
- If you are trying to conceive, avoiding pregnancy or have symptoms that worry you, see your doctor. The PDF report is a summary of your logs to make that conversation easier, not a clinical document.
4. WellPeriod Pro: subscriptions and one-time purchase
Part of the features are free. Pro features are unlocked through in-app purchases managed by Apple:
- Monthly or yearly subscription. Charged to your Apple account on confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. After cancelling you keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
- Free trial. When offered, the yearly subscription’s free trial lasts 7 days. It converts to a paid subscription at the end unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you buy another subscription. One trial per Apple account.
- One-time purchase (“lifetime”). A single payment that unlocks Pro with no renewal on the Apple account it was bought with, for as long as the app is available.
- Prices are shown in your currency inside the app and may vary by country. If we change a subscription price, Apple will notify you and you can cancel before it applies.
- You can restore previous purchases with “Restore purchases” in the app.
5. Refunds
Purchases are made through Apple and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
6. Your data
What you log is yours. How it is stored and what leaves your phone is described in the Privacy policy, which is part of these terms. You are responsible for your iCloud and backups; since there is no WellPeriod account, we cannot recover deleted data.
7. Acceptable use
You may not decompile, modify or redistribute the app, circumvent in-app purchases, or use it in a way that breaks the law or infringes third-party rights.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its design, texts, guides and brand belong to WellPeriod. These terms transfer no rights over them to you, other than the licence described.
9. Warranties and liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that predictions are accurate or that the app is error-free or available without interruption, and we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app or reliance on its predictions, including unintended pregnancies or health decisions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights your country’s consumer law grants you.
10. Changes to the app or these terms
We may update the app and these terms. Relevant changes will be announced in the app or on this page with a new effective date. Features on the “free forever” list of the purchase screen will not become paid. We may withdraw the app from the App Store; in that case the one-time purchase keeps working on versions already installed.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
